H’officially, the other day.

Brand new kid!

So, we passed being a Virgo
Then we passed a birthday and a wedding anniversary
So, young Harrison has his own day, and doesn’t have to share his special day with anyone else even vaguely related.
We got over our queasy tummies, feelings of dread, rebellious colons and All Other Whatnots.
Good, eh.
Back to what passes for normality in this day and age. The Billisaurus started another jigsaw, and found out why this particular one was shoved into an Inconspicuous corner.
Weight in future will feature prominently in All decisions as regards to Future Purchases of afore said jigsaws. A minimum of 1000 bits being high on the agenda, mind you.
Weight, you wonder.
Well, these two jigsaw were just about paper thin. Sigh. Bit difficult to get right, what with the blurry type picture…you could just tell that that bit didn’t want to go there…the picture was almost a necessary adjunct to Getting It Right..but the final arbiter was..ta da..what was on the other side! Letters of the alphabet, all grouped in order..if you got it right. Using them was almost as difficult, but eminently more satisfying when you turned it all over, and put in the right spot. A not so goodly proportion of the Definitely In The Right Spot Brigade Members…weren’t! So, thicker bits equals more weight, and a Much More Satisfying experience.

Now we got pictures to worry about. Seeing as getting to hold the latest addition is out of the question..Covid and Borders and Premiers and Looming Elections..oh, and pollies in general..
Having the genuine article on hand, so to speak, its easier to draw comparisons, lets say. Feet size, leg length, hands, whose lips he came out with…shape of head..well, the birthing process has a lot to do with that I would have thought. Whose smile we were blessed or saddled with..yet to be determined! oh, ears as well..hair colour..now thats a biggie. Looks dark from where we sit..a certain mother-to-be found herself teased mercilessly about giving birth to a redhead…looks like we might have dodged that bullet. 🙂
