Into the year of the chinese fire horse. World wise, things havent been going well. We’ll leave all that alone..things did start to deteriorate in the final days of..last chinese year, year of the snake. I did hear a remark, about the snake shedding its skin, that being an explanation for ..everything, really.

My Facebook was canned/deleted/ made awol as it were, and I still dont know why..I did think that a few ..politically orientated comments about..a certain middle eastern country, famous for its kneejerk reaction to anything with the faintest hint of..shock horror, criticism..might have been the catalyst.but there are a few sites that get away with..a lot worse, and they are still up and running. It could have been a Someone complaining about my comments/criticism…I have no idea. I thought for a while it was using a different computer…but nah..facebook sends you an email, asking if that login was from you. So, I eventually crossed the tees, doted the Is, and got myself a new facebook name, but with new email, and phone number. I did have two phones before..one was used for when a site wants your phone number, and the main one wasnt really an option. I check the ‘new’ phone daily..well, the battery only lasts a day or so. Its an old one..on the small side, no fancy crap, and the majority of apps are all turned off anyway. Access to the phone network…Telstra reckoned that I could have another telstra ID…but they wouldnt let me do it when push came to shove. Ah, I’ll go optus, then. The man wasn’t overly impressed, but hey, get over it. One optus network access obtained..but I needed to sign up in a day or so. All tickety boo..facebook was up and running…but the phone number and email address was locked in. Stuffed if I could change it. Optus, prepaid, twelve months access…$360 or so. Huh? When I wasnt going to use it a lot..bit steep, especially when Telstra would do the same for..two lots of $39, $78 for the year. Didnt want Telstra after the hoohar. Vodaphone, then. Would you believe $45, twelve months access, with calls and texts coming out of the $45 till it was all gone?!!!!! My goodness me! Aaand transfer the number straight over..telstra happy to unlock the telstra phone. Vodaphone did want the data and the internet left on, however. Hmm..usually turn those off. After a month, $20 was left. Hoo boy..no texts or phone calls…?? Turns out, all the apps left on the phone dialled out here and there. So, data and internet off. week later, $25 left..they gave me $5 for my troubles. Works! I am a tad ..careful.. about what I stick in facebook, now…it was such a blow to lose facebook mkI. Meta wiped everything, even though they said I could download all my posts, etc…sods. All gone, friends and everything. All trace of me was erased..no likes, stories comments. Emails were still there, though. I sent a friend request to..lass in West Aussie…we were fb friends before..uh uh. noo reply, but I couldnt find her via fb after that. Ah, banned! Perhaps I should have sent a fb message in the first instance…It, after all, has been twelve years since I lived there. Water under the bridge.
