More visitors, aaand I’m here to say that they loved our rendition of brother Sandies garlic prawns.
Their labrador pooch had been ..I dunno, edumicated maybe out of puppyhood, into..not chewing everything bekos it was there type of thing. Hoooey!
Could have gotten in to trouble bigtime, what with different bits and pieces lying around unattended, like.
All good.
About to go back to work, at the moment thursdays and fridays..thats allright, I hear you say. Well, the money is good, worrkmates are fine, boss is um a fun lady at times!
Hours a bit ORDinary, seeing as the alarm goes off at 4.15 am, and its a 5am start. Afternoon shift is good, finish at 6pm.
There for a long time, there was more money going out than was coming in, after the BIG SHIFT. Queensland, that is.
Seeing as I had been careful with money ..like forever, I did have a few sheckles in the odd bank or two, and the rate it was disappearing at was..sustainable for quite a few years. But then some work happened, and with yours truly not overly keen on fulltime backbreaking stuff, the prospects werent all that bright. But, with a nudge in the right direction, I scored some casual work, and it was Most Agreeable. Being called into different workplaces was great. Hasnt happened for a while, now, seeing as thursdays and fridays are Out Of The Question, as in Reserved. The occasional workmate goes off on leave, gets crook, and yours truly steps up..along with the rest of them, to figure out which one of us will offer/or is happy to.. to do what is needed, so as Not To Annoy the bosslady with unwarranted and extra work. After all, she is one snowed in lady as far as her workload is concerned.
Yaaas. The occasional week flat out can be borne here and there. Pay check looks huge..all those extra figures!
The thursdays and fridays are ..funded?..up until August sometime, then we might have more leisure time up our ..honourable sleeve, if you can visualise one or two of those. Might go for a meander to another workplace, see if I can get put on their casual list…if the worse should happen, that is.
