One of my cleaning venues has called on my services again..first time for a year or more. Don’t mind thirty dollars an hour here and there eh.
They reckoned they were told I wasn’t interested anymore..well, thurs and fridays were taken care of…
So now, I have five days straight..of getting up at 4am, ready to do battle with..cleaning solutions and suchlike…hoo boy, and the afternoons as well.
Also means the honeybun gets woken up as well..sigh..although sharing a cuppa has its merits at that time of the day, must admit. We’ll see who ends up with red eyes after a week of it…
The weeks is almost stuffed, and the bod is holding up well, must admit. Application of a hotpack didnt go astray, fixed a sore shoulder..mostly! Had to be That shoulder didnt it?
So. Almost had wednesday arvo off, right up until I was thinking of settling in with a coldie. Sigh. Ah well, another 3 hours to the tally. Won’t be able to jump over the payslip..I found it amazing what school cleaners can amass full time..but then again, thats not everyones favourite occupation, or cup of tea either.

Don’t think I told the world at large..apart from facebook I guess..that the son and heir has..um..come in from the cold 🙂 so to speak. One has to be a bit careful, get it right, that sort of thing..he’s been determined to make his own way in the world..same as my sometimesgoodself. Genes maybe..anyhow..hes done well for himself, and has decided to take a wife. Thats the 18th century way of putting it, n’est ce pas? Close!  And good on him, I say. None of this..put everything on credit, and pay it back later..much later is the usual thing amongst the young’uns nowadays. Dad got married when he was 36, the young’un at 39, and I bucked the trend..I was 25. Sigh. Perhaps another decade may have made a difference!  Anyway, water under the bridge.
