I had a 44 (old nomenclature; gallons. 200 Litre nowadays..)at the back window..two thumps meant 2 black kitties had jumped down from the wall, onto the drum, into and were proceeding through – the laundrey cum bathroom in my general direction. This particular day..I was sitting at the end of the mat that stretched down to the laundry cum…soo these two kitties presented on the Other End of aforesaid mat. Muggins moved off the mat, grabbed a handful, and gave it a tweak. Earth moved..so Rebel jumped straight up..he outdid his previous best..landed with all claws ready to engage. Black Megs..went up on his paws a tad..then started off toward me. Rebel got another tweak when his claws retracted..another amazing leap..but then figured what was happening..here was dad with tears running down the face..3 jumps..but they were getting smaller..
