Catchy name, h’intended to catch a few more eyes than has been the case up till now..
First off..notice there are bits missing..Which I realised early on…individual bits aren’t your normal jigsaw bits either. Take a gekko at the bottom left hand corner..bit.

Not there eh, true, but have you ever seen a corner bit quite like that one? Its actually two bits, matched diagonally. Rest of them are fairly similar, in that they are weird shapes.
A challenge, to say the least. Normally, a missing bit would have necessitated a wholesale bundling up and put in the garbage bin type action. I suppose I could have guessed that sommat was amiss, when I opened it up, and the jigsaw was put together almost completely, only separated to fit into the box it came in. I just pulled it all apart, ..as you do..and started afresh.
Anyway, now for other news.
Retirement is going well, so far hasn’t really sunk in yet, on account of school holidays happening, and no work for the first week anyway.

Another social outlet needed, they tell me.
We did try all sorts of things when we first lobbed in sunny queensland..two choirs, one after the other. I did lob at a mens shed a couple of times…this lot were city slickers, and there was a line up if you wanted to use any of the equipment, of which there was plenty, I might add. Not like Beacon, where you get given a job as soon as you poke your nose through the door! Ahh, Bruce Ingy, I miss those days!
The weather bureau informed me the other day that rainfall was becoming unpredicatable..and they weren’t wrong eh. Scudding showers is about how I would put it for the last few weeks. Clothes out on the line…and stay there for days on end, unless you catch them before the next shower.
Easter.. pretty laid back, friends in for lunch saturday, with the added bonus of a Noah. Like a sausage dog, with fox terrier bits here and there. Only month or so old. Delightful!
Pumpkins..all going well, apart from the first one which has started to rot. Sigh. Saved half..
