Continue reading →SINce Brians Soup Kitchen…became more widely known..
there are heaps of these blighters, and more arriving every day. Sigh..well, ok, not that bad, but it seems as if we are keeping the entire Alexandra Hills Population of winged critters..and the rest of them..in one bit, and in good flying order.
We thought we had storm birds, see picture. however, according to a publication from the qld museum, red eyes and a forked tail means..a spangled Drongo. Who’d have thought it?!!
The HoneyBun has indicated..thats its now Time for another Blog. Well,subject matter. Hmmm.
Recent events..visitors? -were delightful, PROBably not a great idea for People with a sense of Privacy to have their details splashed over social media..such that this is.. so..more personal type stuff. Welll Jigsaws!
Last entry, we saw..ants blamed for the low fertilisation rate in the pumpkins, necessitating manual fertilisation..dusting the female flower bits with the..male flower bits! Naow, these ants. Blessed things are everywhere eh. In Jobs Palace in Beacon, in WA, on the rabbitproof fence, edge of station country, I managed to keep them out of the kitchen..spraying.
Continue reading →The orchid/palm out the back, which featured on my opening salvo, (opening page, worldsbestest etc,) has long ceased to flower, and has retreated into normalcy..palm type leaves sticking up. I will try to do a new bit each month, this month will feature..pumpkins!
