Yours truly moved on from the farm, and took those habits with him. Working at the Repat Hospital in Hobart was an education..I wasn’t allowed to ..cobble things together, patch things up with foreign parts..had to be the correct spare parts, and look smicko. Like new. No two tone paintwork for example. It all had to be electrically safe, what’s more; a major part of my job was electrical safety testing..using specialised test equipment. They had service agents, whose job it was to look after their range of biomedical equipment. A lot of the time, we shipped crook bits and pieces straight to them to be fixed. Not a lot of repair work for me!
Outdoors clothes line needs the wire replaced every couple of years or so. What happens to old wire? Instead of being thrown out, it is repurposed as wiring on the fence, for passionfruits to climb along.
Indoor Clothesline.
Extremely useful when its a bit too damp outside.
We found the perfect spot..in the garage, strung across..everything, really.
