Hereby h’introducing the ..tada..Farmboy series.
For the next few articles, I explain some rationale, followed by..pictures!
Okay. So, mysometimesverygoodself, was brought up on a farm in Eastern Tassie. Aforesaid farm was..marginal, not really enough income to support all the progeny in each generation, with the result that one son stayed, and everyone else headed off to greener pastures. The older son was usually favoured to stay on the farm, leaving any younger sons to make their own way in life..but for at least the last two generations, its the older son who heads off into the wild blue yonder.
dining room chair..the original seat cover was stapled to the frame underneath.. but it didnt take much to break free, and sag dreadfully. This caused lots of angst, numerous repairs, culminating in me biting the bullet, and purchasing lots of metres of webbing, which was dutifully applied to the underside of each chair, and stapled on with better than before grade staples. Since the new webbing happened, there hasn’t had to have been one repair. Wow! Plastic feet being the only issue. Felt pads not being durable enough…
